Award Guidelines

Lifetime Achievement Award

(Age: above 55 years)

This Award recognizes and promotes individuals who have made a significant contribution in the field of Bioinformatics and Biological Sciences through instruction, leadership/service and research/scholarship over a minimum of 25 years.

SBBS Senior Scientist Award

(Age: 45 - 55 years)

Senior Scientists working in different areas of Bioinformatics and Biological Sciences are eligible to apply for this award. The award recognizes academic experience and research achievements of the scientists.

Distinguished Scientist Award

The Award recognizes eminent scientist for their outstanding contribution for the promotion of biological sciences in the country. Among the most important qualities are inspiration, leadership and quality of contributions and the impact on educational programs and professional growth of individuals.

Women Scientist Award

Woman researcher/academician below the age of 45 years involved in Biotech R&D for her outstanding contribution carried out in India is eligible for this award.

Young Scientist Award

(Age below 40 years)

This is for young scientist/professors/professionals/scholars below the age of 40 years for their outstanding contributions performed in the Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.

Late Smt. Rahibai Ramteke Young Women Scientist Award

(Age below 40 years)

This is for young women scientist/scholars below the age of 40 years for their outstanding contributions performed in the Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.

Late Prayag Narayan Singh Memorial Award (for non-teaching staff)

The award will be given to devoted staff of an organization where conference is being organized.
